Game Boy Color emulator in your browser
Pocket Cloud plays Game Boy Color games in any modern browser using the binjgb emulator, with saves that can sync to your account.
Supported files and emulator
- ROM files you provide, with the
.gbcextension. Pocket Cloud also tells Game Boy Color ROMs apart from Game Boy ones by their header. - Emulator: binjgb (MIT license), the same core as for Game Boy, compiled to WebAssembly. The copy Pocket Cloud serves includes a fix for a hang that could happen after a Game Boy Color speed switch. See Open-source licenses.
- Screen: 160 × 144 pixels, scaled up to fit your display.
Saves
Battery saves are stored in your browser and, when you sign in, backed up to your account so they follow you to other devices. See How Pocket Cloud works.
Controls
Game Boy Color uses the same buttons and default keys as the Game Boy: D-pad, A, B, Start and Select. See Controls.
Other systems
Also supported: Game Boy and Game Boy Advance. Pocket Cloud ships no games; you bring your own ROM files. See the FAQ.
